Handicaps

All IPAGs events are now run on the Golf Genius platform, which is synchronised with the WHS handicapping system.

At the 2024 AGM the Society adopted a new set of rules which included the following paragraph relating to handicaps:

The society uses the WHS system for handicaps in all competitions.  Scores from all society events are automatically posted to the WHS system. In order to win a trophy, a member must have posted at least 4 (four) scores to the WHS system in the 12 months prior to the event. New members must have a handicap index of at least 18 (for men) for 24 (for women), with a maximum playing handicap for any event of 20 for men or 26 for women.
